Supporting hairdressers & salon staff's wellbeing
Hair care is self care for many. And salons have stepped up to provide it.
Individuals went on to say they rated Salon visits and getting a haircut or treatments as the KEY activity on their SelfCare lists that they don't want to give up.
This is not new information, especially to the Salon industry. It's significance is that in today's world, as people are more disconnected to their own SelfCare routines, Salons have stepped up to take care of their clients.
So now, we want to take care of THEM.
Hairdressers and Support staff spend numerous hours on their feet, sometimes with equipment or products in their hands.
The affect of any repetitive strain activities can have impact on quality of life, and how their body feels and operates.
SelfCareU (with the guidance of Neill Corp) is launching a Resource Center for Hairdressers and Support Staff to address the underlying issues that can occur as a result of just going to work everyday.
Support at all stages.
In a recent data collection from hairdressers for Neill Corp, many reported low back pain, foot pain, and fatigue at the end of the day.
As a people-focused corporation, Neill wants to assist the Salon community to easily address these daily actions that can cumulate and become problematic for the hairdressers and staff.
We will work with the seasoned hairdresser that may already have some repetitive strain issues that need to be addressed. AND we will educate and help new staff and students learn how to prevent and deal with the issues better than the people that have led the way in their fields.
Additionally, SelfcareU was developed to allow more individuals to access state-of-the-art techniques and programming.
Offering these modalities to Salons and hairdressers allows the staff opportunities to address repetitive patterns while at work, and easy access to techniques and programming they can do on their own to feel better everyday.

Our Naboso Shoe Insole Study began with the purpose of reducing foot pain, back pain and decreasing fatigue at the end of the day by just adding and wearing Naboso Insoles for at least 4 hours during workdays.
